Background
I've spent years working with complex systems. But some of the work I enjoy most starts with a very ordinary question: how could I make this easier?
My background is in insurance and insurtech. Over more than 12 years, I worked on digital transformation, claims automation and the practical challenge of changing how work gets done.
That experience taught me to look beyond a promising demo. Who will use this? What happens when something goes wrong? Does it make the work easier once the initial excitement wears off?
Along the way, I started explaining AI to people around me. Smart, experienced people who wanted to understand how it could help them, but didn't know where to begin.
I enjoyed helping them find that starting point. I began running brisk. alongside my job: teaching, building, and taking on paid projects.
How I work
A task you repeat. A project you want to finish. A process that's taking more effort than it should.
Then we work through it. I'll explain what we're doing, help you judge the output, and show you how to use what we've made.
With one client, that meant learning AI while building her new website in two days. With a team at a large insurance company, it meant a practical AI workshop built around their own tasks.
Different situations, with the same starting point: the work people need to do.
You can learn with me, build alongside me, or have me handle the implementation. You don't have to want the same level of involvement as the next person.
